Semolina

Roasted semolina cooked with vegetables and mild spices into a soft, savory porridge โ€” a quick and popular South Indian breakfast, also known as upma.

    Heat a pan and add 2 spoons of oil.

    After heating the oil, add mustard seeds and roast it well.

    After roasting mustard seeds, roast them well, add chopped green chillies and let it cook in oil, then add chopped onions and cook it until it becomes light pink.

    Put chopped carrots, capsicum, peas and chopped tomatoes, and cook it for 2-3 minutes.

    After adding the mixture, add semolina and roast it for 4-5 minutes.

    After roasting semolina, add 4 cups of water to it and shake it well.

    When the mixture starts boiling, add lemon juice. โ€ข Do not thicken, so keep stirring it 1-2 minutes.

    Cook it for 4-5 minutes on slow flame until thickened. Stir with spoon in the middle of the middle. โ€ข Turn off the gas and remove the stool and let it set for 10 minutes.

    Put fried cashew nuts and mix well and take it out in the serving dish.
